We did not move. But after all the updates we've done in the last year, it sure feels like it! The two most used rooms of the house - the living room and kitchen - both got face lifts within the last year. Besides fresh paint and decor, we had our new floors installed last month. Today the new windows came. I felt bad for the poor installers because today was probably the hottest day of the summer. It was 90 degrees by 9 am! We obviously had to turn the a/c off because there were HOLES in our house all morning, so Andrew hunkered down in the basement while I high-tailed it out of here with the boys. We found refuge at a friend's house. :-)
Here are the pictures of before and after!

| Our bedroom windows were something else. They were drafty in winter and the storm windows rattled when it was really windy. They started fogging up today when the installer started prying off some of the outside pieces. |

I love how bright and open the window is. This one slides from side to side, which saved us money because we were purchasing 1 big window instead of 2 small ones.

| The boys' window started leaking water in the last year if rain was coming down in the right direction. I unfortunately couldn't take an "after" picture because Joey was sleeping and all the window treatments were back up. It looks just like the kitchen window though, which is up next! |

Don't have a "before" pic of the outside of the house,
but here's the after! |
Thanks to my dear friend Mindy and her girls Reagan and Olivia, who let us invade for the morning. Here are the kiddos playing Play-Dough. :-)
It's amazing what a difference new windows can make on a house!! Such a good investment!
