Joe, the Big Boy

So on our Springfield mini-vacay, we just had Joey sleep in a real bed.  He did fine.  On Sunday, he took his nap in his crib for the last time.  Ben was already in the big boy bed at this age b/c I was pregnant and we needed it vacated for the new baby.  We didn't have such a motive this time so we didn't rush it. 

It was so bittersweet to see Joe in his crib for the last time.  He's all stretched out here, so you can see that he takes up a lot of room!!  And yes, he still uses a binky... but only for naps and bedtime... he'll lose it by his 3rd birthday.  :-)

So now the crib lives in the basement in pieces, awaiting the next Scott tyke (no announcements yet!).  Joey took to his big boy bed like a champ.  After two nights in it he hasn't gotten out of bed and he's slept till his normal time. Way to go Joey!  You're such a big boy and we love you!!!
