We saw the doctor last week and Hannah is in the 75th percentile for weight (20 lbs) and height (29"). She's solid and has chub, but is quite proportionate.
Here's what Hannah has been up to lately:
- Army crawling! Girl has some serious upper body strength the way she hauls herself around.
- Speaking of crawling, she learned recently that she can crawl from room to room. We have some doors closed now and have set up a gate to keep her out of the dining room.
- Speaking of crawling, I'm pretty certain half of her calories comes from random stuff she eats off the floor, even though I sweep about 5x a day.
- Speaking of eating off the floor, she also loves to find our shoes and eat those too.
- Speaking of eating, she discovered the deliciousness of table food in the last month and will not let us put a spoonful of baby food in her mouth. She loves meat (plain ground beef, deli ham, chicken nuggets), Cheerios, Nutri-grain bars, broccoli, rice, cheese, green beans, black olives, tortilla, noodles, banana bread, and those little yogurt drops that you can buy in the baby food section. She lives for those things.
- I can't get her to eat fruit. She likes it, but it's too slippery to pick up. She will let me feed that to her off a fork though.
- Signs "all done" and "more."
- Likes to play with my hair and inspect my teeth.
- Is very social and hasn't shown any separation anxiety yet, although she does want me to hold her if I'm in the room.
- Loves to watch kids, especially those big brothers.
- Wears 12 month clothes and size 4 diapers.
- Is a true blend of her brothers when it comes to appearance. She has Ben's eyes and Joey's mouth.
Holy cow, nine months already? I agree the more kids you have the faster time seems to speed away, but maybe it is just because you are even more busy.
