We took a little family getaway last weekend to Branson, MO. I've never traveled that far into Missouri before and WOW... we live in a gorgeous state. Instead of the flat farmlands you see traveling north into the midwest, you go over hill after rolling hill covered in beautiful, lush green forests.
We didn't get to do a whole lot while there due to our short 2-night stay (and a certain little boy needing afternoon naps). But we did do some hotel swimming, tons of mini golf, good meals here and there, and Ben's inaugural ride on go-karts! The time at the hotel was limited as Joey was more interested in running and yelling down the hallways and turning on the heat to 75 degrees. Here are a few pics from the go-karting!
