The boys were so excited when I brought home this year's gingerbread house kit from Aldi (only $6.99!). We did the same kit last year and our finished product was pretty cute. Look at these babies!! They grow so much in a year!
This year's kit came with a cracked piece. We tried "gluing" it with the frosting.
It held for awhile. It was good enough for government work!
And then it gave way.
I thought the boys would be pretty upset.
But a broken gingerbread house meant it could be eaten right away.
Mom originally said it was going to have to sit for at least a day so we could stare at it.
Extra frosting for Ben, chowing down for Joe!
